Our sleeve system ensures shorter conversion times. Up to 1 minute per sleeve/color. A total of 8 sleeves can be changed within 8 minutes and can be performed by one operator.
When our sleeves are put on the air cylinder, they are always in a fixed position. This means that all sleeves/colors are immediately in registration. This saves a lot of time and waste.
Because the air cylinders are fixed in the decorator, the operator only needs to carry the sleeves to the cylinders. Since the sleeve only weighs 250 grams, this can easily be done by one operator carrying 4 sleeves at a time. Compared to carrying the heavy plate cylinders, this is a huge advantage. No need to carry heavy cylinders anymore.
Our sleeve system can be used on most brands of decorators. So, there is no need to purchase a new decorator. It only takes about 4 hours to convert a decorator from plate-cylinders to sleeve-air cylinders. For the decorator to run on sleeves you only need 8 air cylinders. A small investment for a high return.

Our sleeve consists of 2 layers. The inner layer is a sturdy PP material that is dimensionally stable. This ensures easy handling when installed on the cylinder. The outer layer is a Polymer that allows to be engraved with the preferred image and has an outstanding ink transfer. The image needs to be engraved on the sleeve with the help of a DLE (Direct Laser Engraving) machine. The engraving method assures to give the highest quality possible. This allows you to print beautiful images and sharp text and illustrations. We have developed a laser engraving machine specifically designed for sleeve engraving. We can offer you this system at a very competitive price. The engraved sleeve needs to be cleaned with pressurized water. This takes only 5 minutes. Now the sleeve is ready to be used for printing. We also developed a sleeve washer unit that cleans the sleeve fully automatically. This sleeve washer can also be purchased from us. All the sleeve air cylinders use a pin to register the sleeve. This allows immediate registration of all colors.

We have an engraving department where we have several engraving machines allowing us to produce and ship sleeves to our customers worldwide.We do also have a studio where we can prepare the artwork for you. We can do the full preparation from artwork to engraved sleeve. Or we can create a 1-bit tif file from which you can engrave the sleeves yourself.
